Martins Bay to Moturekareka and Motuketekete Islands – 03^rd  January 2025

This trip is suitable for Intermediate and strong beginner. This trip will be around 15 km

Meet at Martins Bay at 09:00 to be on the water at 09:30. Estimated time off the water is 14:00

Low Tide is at 04:19 and high tide is at 10:40

Trip Plan: Launch at Martin’s Bay and paddle out to and circumnavigate Moturekareka  and Motuketekete Islands and view the Rewa wreck.

What to bring:

·       Kayak

·       Paddle

·       Spray skirt

·       VHF (If you have one)

·       PLB (if you have one).

·       Change of clothes

·       Sunscreen

·       Hat

·       Helmet (if you are planning on rock gardening)

·       Snacks

·       Sufficient water for the day

·       Rock Shoes / booties

·       Bilge pump (recommended)
